For a serial year, the show-room of “FORD MOTO PHOFE” has appeared as arena of the Professional Armwrestling League. The competition was also the last check-in of the part of the national-players, that will represent Bulgaria at the World Armwrestling Championship in Kelowna, Canada, from 1^st to 7^th December 2008. The competition was won by the temporary leader Slavi Zahariev with 205 pts., followed by the vice-world champion Stefan Lengarov (201 pts.) and Hristo Delidjakov (194 pts.).

Only at 5 points distance have classed the rest 4 competitors, that is a eloquent fact for the contestation of this event. 4^th place was got by Plamen Bambov with 185 pts., only a point after him has classed Viktor Balabanov (186 pts.). The last year PAL-winner Dimitar Yulev has preferred to play without risk (he has a trauma on his left hand) and to protect his strength for Canada – also, Yulev has won the 6^th place with 181 pts. Only a point After Dimitar has classed on the 7^th place Georgi Gaydardjiev – from him we are waiting for world-title in youth category in Kelowna. The last 8^th place has left for the youth-European Champion Julian Kolev (126 pts.).

This was the last one event in the schedule of the Bulgarian Armwrestling Federation for 2008. Followed by the tradition, the Board of BGAF has maintained the sportsman of BGAF’2008 – and this is the European Champion Georgi Gaydardjiev
