Can Prudnyk fight with an injured shoulder? >>>

Can Prudnyk fight with an injured shoulder? # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

I have learned that Evgenyi was seriously injured at the Europeans. I’ve decided to find something out from his coach, Dmitry Kiriliuk. ()

Evgenyi had a shoulder injury, how did that happen?

Me and Evgenyi tried to recall how and where it’s happened, but we couldn’t. It’s happened about a year ago, some micro-injury, supposed to heal itself. Eugene took chondroitin, glucosamine, used ointments, but the micro-injuries just kept amassing. Today we had an MRI.

Has he had any discomfort before?

No heavy pains, but the injuries happened two years and a year ago.

How has Evgenyi treated them before?

He practically hasn’t. He used ointments, chondroprotectors, mukasat, but we haven’t paid it much attention.

One could say that he finished his arm off in his fight with Zoloev.

What has the MRI shown?

I have the MRI results with me, it says: damage to rotator cones, partial tearing of scapular muscle tendon, partial damage to particular strands of bicep muscle, some old injuries.

How will he treat his injuries this time?

We have managed to recruit a serious medical crew from Ukraine, he had injections right away, diprospan, physiotherapy. The treatment will last about two weeks, the arm has to rest.

We would love to hear your opinion, as a coach – will he be able to fight at Vendetta?

We have asked this question to a doctor. His response was: “If you want to fight armless, then go on, fight”. I agree with the doctor! I think it would be best to let this armfight go, we are talking about Evgenyi’s health here. But seeing how quick Eugene is getting back in shape, miracles can happen. We all want to see this fight. So first we will di the treatment for 15 days, and then we’ll see. For the moment, I don’t want Gene to fight in Vendetta.
