How can you make someone interested in armwrestling? # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

Women on wrestling. ()

This time around we have asked the women, what would it take to make a girl interested in armwrestling? http://en.armpower.net/article/en/how-to-interest-anyone-in-armwrestling-3472.html

A gun to my head – Tatiana, Jelec, 21 yrs, student.

Nothing can make me watch two guys break each other's arms. It's stupid, it's not a sport! - Olga, Mogilev, 21 yrs, student.

I never thought arm wrestling was an actual sport! Maybe if any of my friends took on armwrestling, I would try it too. But still, I prefer biathlon, it's nice to watch, our team is doing well and it's something to talk about to other people – Anastasia, Voronez, 29 yrs, housewife.

I like guys in good shape, but I don't like bodybuilders posing on the stage, or boxers in huge shorts, running round the ring, or sambo fighters in kimonos. I like sports to have style. When I was asked about armwrestling, I couldn't answer straight away, because I knew nothing about the sport. But Google came to my aid. I'm now certain that armwrestlers are not stylish dudes. Hair, clothes, shoes – only some exceptions have good style.

There's one especially, very nice, though aggressive, tatooed, with glasses, an American fighter (Jeffrey Hale). I'd watch armwrestling if all guys were like him – Olga, Minsk, 30 yrs, stylist.

I'm a fan of all movements. Armwrestling? Ok, I'll watch it, but what for? If it was a popular sport, I'd have heard about it. And probably watch it with pleasure. If it's been around for a long time, but still has no fans, that's just sick. It has to be interesting, if it hasn't died off. But it's not popular, so it needs curing. - Karina, Moscow, 26 yrs, blogger.

I hate the sight of pain, and armwrestling seems painful. When I watch the fighters' faces in a fight, I think they are in pain. They know it's risking their health, but they still do it. It's a sign of courage, but it's not something I like to watch. - Maria, Grodno, 25, communications specialist.

So, the female vision of armwrestling is actually akin to the male, and points to one main problem – lack of popularity. How to remedy that situation? There might be many cures, but where are the doctors?
